Portland Balintawak

Portland Balintawak is a proud member of the International Balintawak Organization headed by Grandmaster Bobby Taboada.

Portland Balintawak was the first and currently only Taboada Balintawak organization in Oregon State and one of only a few schools dedicated to the Filipino martial art of Balintawak Eskrima in the Pacific Northwest. ​The original group consisted of just one student training under Mike Griffin wherever they could find space. By 2022 the group had produced 1 Full Qualified Instructor (FQI), and 4 Completion of the Art students (CoA).
